Osun State NYSC Blazing Mic Kicks Off with The Black Wall Street Sensitisation
Ede Camp, Osun State – June 2025 – The NYSC Blazing Mic Talent Show officially kicked off in a vibrant fashion at the Osun State Orientation Camp, spearheaded by The Black Wall Street, a leading talent management and development platform in Nigeria.
Held as part of NYSC Batch A Stream 2’s activities, the event began with a dynamic talent sensitisation session, aimed at encouraging Corps Members to unlock and harness their creative potential during the service year and beyond.
The Black Wall Street: Driving Purposeful Talent Development
The sensitisation session was conducted by Mr. Tosin Ajirere, who represented the esteemed Ambassador Big Suni, CEO of The Black Wall Street. With a legacy that spans over 20 years in Nigeria’s entertainment scene, The Black Wall Street has mentored A-list Nigerian artistes including Terry G, Oritsefemi, Rayce, and Seyi Shay.

During his session, Mr. Ajirere emphasized that every Corps Member is gifted with a unique talent waiting to be discovered and developed. He urged the young Nigerians not to underestimate their potential, especially in the creative and entertainment industries.
“Your talent is your identity. It’s time to nurture it,” he declared passionately to a cheering crowd of eager Corps Members.
Following his address, professional runway model, Miss Patience Ezinma, took the stage and delivered an inspiring speech that encouraged Corps Members to “put themselves out there and grab every opportunity they can find.” She emphasized the importance of visibility, confidence, and owning one’s presence in every space they occupy.
To round off the sensitisation, Treasure Beats, a renowned Abuja-based music producer, addressed musically inclined Corps Members. He encouraged them to begin honing their sound, work on their craft daily, and embrace the limitless possibilities within the music industry.
🎭 Auditions: Unveiling Hidden Stars
After the inspiring talks, interested Corps Members were invited to audition for a chance to be part of the NYSC Blazing Mic Talent Showcase. Participants were grouped according to their passions and skill sets:

On the modeling side, Miss Patience Ezinma worked side-by-side with Amb. Big Suni to provide practical guidance to aspiring runway models. She taught them the basics of runway walking, stage presence, and posing techniques, leaving them not only inspired but equipped for the runway and camera.
